Health Services

The health and safety of our students is a top priority every day. Our health services team collaborates with school staff and the community to promote student health for academic and student success. Licensed school nurses (LSN) and health clerks work together to meet students' physical, emotional and social health needs, in addition to promoting the health and safety of the entire school community. Our team helps to bridge health care and education by advocating for quality, student-centered care.

IMPORTANT: Please do not send your child to school ill. If your child shows symptoms of fever, cough, headache, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, sore throat, runny nose, etc., please keep your child at home. Children may return to school when they are feeling better and are fever-free for at least 24 hours.

Tips for Families

  • Notify the health office of any injuries or health issues that might impact your child’s school day. We can work with you to establish a plan that will enable your student to function better here at school.
  • Keep phone numbers and emergency contacts up-to-date through ParentVUE.
  • When calling attendance line with a health issue, please provide specifics.
  • Encourage your child to drink plenty of water during the day.
