Students at Orono Intermediate School are in the middle of an important transition between primary grades and middle school. We recognize the unique characteristics of these learners and strive to build and support structures that enable kids to achieve at the highest levels possible.

Character Education

The six pillars of Character Counts! (Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring, and Citizenship), comprise perhaps the single-most important pillar of programming delivered at Orono Intermediate School. Exercising high levels of responsibility and independence in their learning, students achieve within a challenging and caring environment.
