Monday – Friday (6:30 am – 6 pm)
The Orono Kare for Kids (OK Kids) program is offered by the the Community Education department of Orono Schools to meet the unique learning and care needs of school-age children. Before and/or after school child care is available during the school year. Full-day child care is offered on most non-school days for currently contracted families only. Our teaching staff works to meet the social needs of each child and support his/her success in school.

Beginning in the fall of 2020, OK Kids will no longer be offering the PreKindergarten Academy option within the School Age Child Care program. We are referring families that are seeking preschool-age options to the Discovery Center in Maple Plain, which houses the Orono Schools’ Early Learning programs.
