Monday – Friday (6:30 am – 6 pm)
The Orono Kare for Kids (OK Kids) program is offered by the the Community Education department of Orono Schools to meet the unique learning and care needs of school-age children. Before and/or after school child care is available during the school year. Full-day child care is offered on most non-school days for currently contracted families only. Our teaching staff works to meet the social needs of each child and support his/her success in school.

OK Kids has a wonderful preschool program for children turning age 4 by September 1. Several scheduling options are available for two to five days per week. Full-day childcare is also offered.
OK Kids offers 10 weeks of summer fun. There are Friday field trips, many great activities including swimming and weekly in-house field trips. Students enrolled in the summer take part in the Community Education Enrichment Program.
Program includes nutritious snacks and a light breakfast. Inclusive accommodations for children with special needs.
OK Kids is a quality, extended-day child care program located at the Orono Student Center within the Orono School District.
