Orono Schools uses Schoology as its learning management system. Schoology enables our students, parents and teachers to engage with learning materials and their school community from the classroom and beyond.
With Schoology, students can digitally submit homework assignments, review grades, participate in interactive discussions, receive announcements and feedback, take tests, write academic blogs, and more. As a parent, you will be able to view your child’s activity within the platform.
Students and staff use a Single-Sign-On tool utilizing their Orono Google account while parents use a different login page.
When utilizing the mobile app select “Orono Public School District” as the school first.
Parents should contact the district at firstname.lastname@example.org for login information if they have not already received it. We have started a FAQ page on our Orono PLUS website plus Schoology has a “Parent Guide” online as well.
Note: While you may see scores for some assignments and assessments within the Schoology application, all official grade, attendance, report card information will be found in ParentVUE.
