Adrian Licursi, Orono Intermediate School fourth-grader

Orono Intermediate School fourth-grader Adrian Licursi is a two-time champion, earning perfect scores this year, and as a second-grader, in Continental Math League competition. He is the only Orono student to have achieved this.

Students participating in the Continental Math League (CML) take five monthly tests during a given school year. (In case your math needs help, that means Adrian aced all five tests in second grade and all five in fourth grade.)

Local students participate with other students in the same grade level from schools across the country. CML experiences are designed to maximize student opportunities to participate in and improve problem-solving capabilities.

Adrian’s classroom teacher is Logan Kiesch and his gifted and talented teacher is Heidi Mohagen.
