Sant-O-Lantern Films – also known as Orono Middle School seventh-graders Zander Dent, Mitchell Erb, Angelo Fiataruolo and Derek Wignall – had its stop motion animation selected for the 2017 Perpich Youth Juried Exhibition. It was held March 27 through April 8 at the Perpich Center for the Arts in Golden Valley.

“The jurors had a challenging job choosing from nearly 100 submissions,” wrote Rebecca Bullen, in her letter of congratulations. She is the media arts department chair and also chaired the 2017 exhibition.

Lockie Chapman is the OMS art teacher.
